Cruising’s Newest Luxury Line launches its Wellness Concept in May 2023
When EXPLORA I sets out on her maiden voyage, her guests will experience its “Ocean State of Mind”. This philosophy seeks to connect guests with the sea, with themselves and will like-minded travelers. “Ocean Wellness” does so by offering guests a chance to slowdown, optimize their wellness with a new renewed state of calm and centeredness all inspired by the almost-mystical powers of the seas themselves. Experiences, programs, and spaces are all being designed to help guests achieve inner and outer calm. Everything from sleep to nutrition will ensure a level of renewal that will last long after their voyage ends.
Over 10,000 square feet of space (10,764 to be exact) is dedicated to an extraordinary Spa.
Nothing has been left to the imagination in EXPLORA I’s magnificent facility. There’s a luxury spa with 11 treatments rooms including two Private Spa suites with their own outdoor relaxation areas. And there is one treatment room given over to specialized Medi-Luxe Treatments by Swiss Skin Authority, Dr. Philip Levy. And like the Private Spa suites, all guests will share an outdoor relaxation area overlooking the sea. And of course, there’s a full-service Beauty Studio for those of us who wish to be pampered in the most tranquil of settings.

Anyone who wishes to can have a private consultation about their own wellness goals. Guests can focus on anything they wish –from better sleep to boosting their immunity to rejuvenation and better nutrition. The latter is created in collaboration with Explora Journeys culinary team. It’s all part of EXPLORA I’s mission to providing service at every turn that pays rigorous attention to personal preferences.

The benefits of exercise cannot be overstated. From building a strong immune system to lowering stress levels to creating self-esteem, exercise is a crucial component. In 2,433 square feet of interior space to 688 square feet of outdoor space, EXPLORA I’s Fitness Center even offers a Sports Court for half court basketball. And there’s a panoramic running track and touch tennis. Guests are invited to an initial physical assessment. From there, they can participate in functional and strength training and cardio and Pilates. These sessions can be one-on-one or in groups. Whichever a guest chooses, the focus is always on motivating guests to optimize their health and well-being.

A world leader in products for fitness connected digital technologies, Technogym has been the Official Supplier to the last 8 Olympic Games. Technogym’s connected “smart” equipment incorporates innovative biomechanics all connected digitally. And their personalized fitness programs are actually fun! Their cardio is second to none. Their Run Artis was created for indoor running. Their cutting-edge equipment is used in strength training for both upper and lower body. And out of deck, their Skillrow all-in-one rower and their Group Cycle bikes all provide a sea view while you row or cycle.

All EXPLORA I guests can train in their ocean-front suites or on their suite’s terraces. A virtual coach will encourage them using Technogym’s Bench. This sleek strength-training station with enclosed tools and Technogym Case kit with its QR code accesses a digital library of guided video exercises with trainers supported by Technogym.

There’s an amazingly complete Yoga Program that features Energy flow, Sleep Yoga, Relaxation Yoga, Mindfulness Yoga, and Immune Boosting Yoga. There’s Aromatherapy from

Meanwhile, Dr Levy Switzerland works his magic with cosmeceuticals that stimulate collagen production to reverse skin-aging by awakening the skin’s natural rejuvenation system.
